Forecast Trend Report by Period

Justin Slaughter, a former adviser to the US Securities and Exchange Commission and now Paradigm’s vice president for regulatory affairs, said the CLARITY Act still has a chance of passing.
Writing on X on August 7, Slaughter said the bill’s prospects have fallen sharply as action has been delayed, but it should not be ruled out entirely. The Senate will be in session for only three weeks in September, he wrote, making that period the effective window for advancing the legislation.
Slaughter also said the crypto industry must keep working to win support from policymakers and major media outlets. Policymaking in Washington is still heavily influenced by the press, he wrote, and many conservative opinion leaders remain skeptical of digital assets.
