Onchain Lens, an on-chain analytics firm, wrote on X on August 10 that 566.27 ETH moved from the Ethereum Foundation’s grant-distribution wallet to an unlabeled address. The transfer was worth about $1.09 million.
Separately, 2.62 ETH, worth about $5,000, was sent to another address linked to the Ethereum Foundation. Onchain Lens said that address had previously sent funds to Upbit.
The owner of the address that received the 566.27 ETH and the specific use of the funds were not identified.
