US Strategic Petroleum Reserve Drops 6.1 Million Barrels to Lowest Since 1983

U.S. crude oil stockpiles in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve fell by about 6.1 million barrels last week to 298.7 million barrels, Walter Bloomberg reported on Aug. 10.
That was the lowest level since 1983.
