Kalshi to Offer Real-Time Full Order Book Data in Prediction-Market First Through DoubleZero

Kalshi, a U.S. prediction-market platform, will offer real-time full order book data in an industry first.
The Block and other media outlets reported on August 12 that DoubleZero announced Kalshi would distribute real-time quote data through DoubleZero Edge, its low-latency data transmission service built on a fiber-optic network. The data will be provided by Kalshi Research, a Kalshi unit.
At first, Edge subscribers will receive full order book data for actively traded prediction-market contracts tied to sports and crypto perpetual futures. Users currently must aggregate responses from Kalshi's application programming interface, or API, and reconstruct the order book data themselves.
The service will include Level 1 data showing the best bid and ask prices and executed trades, as well as Level 2 data showing the full depth of the order book. Kalshi also plans to provide historical trading data later.
Kalshi will forgo its share of revenue for one year after the service launches to reduce users' upfront costs.
"Better connectivity creates better markets," Andy Ross, Kalshi's head of institutional business, said. Companies active on Kalshi now require institutional-grade infrastructure across all trading environments.
