SKALE Labs, the developer of the SKALE blockchain network, has launched Agent Pit, a simulated prediction market for training and validating trading strategies for AI agents.
The Block reported on August 12 that Agent Pit is a paper-trading sandbox that lets AI agents test prediction-market strategies without using real funds. It runs on SKALE’s gas-free blockchain environment.
Agent Pit mirrors Polymarket’s order book, market settlement structure and real-time event data feeds. Developers can train AI agents in the virtual environment, refine their strategies and then apply them to live prediction markets such as Polymarket.
The goal is to help users gain confidence in an AI agent’s mechanics and strategy before deploying it in a live market, SKALE Labs Chief Executive Officer Jack O’Holleran said.
