Forecast Trend Report by Period

Some existing investors in artificial intelligence company Anthropic believe it could command a valuation of more than $2 trillion in an initial public offering.
The Financial Times reported on Aug. 13 that some Anthropic backers expect the company to surpass a $2 trillion valuation if it lists as early as October.
The newspaper, citing multiple existing investors, said the view is driven by surging demand for Claude, Anthropic's generative AI service, and rapidly rising revenue. Those investors believe Anthropic's valuation at IPO could more than double from the $965 billion level it was assigned in May.
Revenue growth is a key metric for investors. Anthropic disclosed in May that its annualized revenue was $47 billion. Some investors expect that figure to climb to at least $100 billion and as much as $120 billion by the end of this year.
Some investors also believe the company's valuation could approach $3 trillion. One existing investor based that estimate on applying a 30-times multiple to Anthropic's projected revenue.
