U.S. spot Ether exchange-traded funds recorded zero daily net flows for the first time in about nine months.
Data from SoSoValue showed the 11 U.S. spot Ether ETFs had net flows of $0 on Aug. 14. It was the first zero-flow day since Nov. 10, a span of 277 days.
All 11 products tracked posted no net change in assets, including BlackRock's ETHA and ETHB, Grayscale's ETH and ETHE, Fidelity's FETH and Bitwise's ETHW. Trading volume totaled $340.27 million, however, indicating that zero net flows did not mean trading had stopped.
Spot Ether ETFs recorded net inflows of $7.38 million on Aug. 12 and $6.72 million on Aug. 13. Before that, they posted net outflows of $14.59 million on Aug. 10 and $1.76 million on Aug. 11.
Cumulative net inflows into spot Ether ETFs remained at $11.45 billion. Total net assets stood at $10.52 billion, equal to 4.64% of Ethereum's market capitalization.
