Visit comes days after Koo Kwang-mo, Jensen Huang sign cooperation pact
Private partnership talks set for LG’s Yangjae R&D campus

Madison Huang, Nvidia’s senior director of Omniverse and robotics product marketing and the eldest daughter of Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang, is visiting South Korea to tour a key LG Electronics robotics site.
Huang is scheduled to visit the data factory under development at LG’s Yangjae research and development campus in Seoul’s Seocho district on Aug. 18. She is also set to hold private partnership talks with senior company officials, according to industry sources on Aug. 17.
Robotics is expected to be the main focus of the meeting because it will be held at the data factory, which LG is building as core infrastructure for humanoid robot intelligence. The facility serves as a training ground where robots learn from operational data in environments designed to mirror homes, factories and other real-world settings.
The visit is drawing attention because it comes just days after Jensen Huang and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo met at Nvidia’s headquarters in Santa Clara, California, on Aug. 13 and signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic business cooperation.
Under the agreement, LG Electronics is developing a bipedal humanoid robot based on Nvidia’s platform, with a target unveiling in the first quarter of 2027. The robot will use Nvidia’s Jetson Thor robotics chip module and be built on Isaac GR00T, Nvidia’s humanoid foundation model, and Halos for Robotics, the company’s robotics safety system.
Industry officials say LG’s closer ties with Nvidia could deepen robotics collaboration and help the company gain an edge in physical AI, a sector led by humanoid robots.
Huang joined Nvidia in 2020 and has led product marketing related to the expansion of the physical AI ecosystem. In April, she met with LG Electronics Chief Executive Officer Ryu Jae-cheol at LG Twin Towers in Seoul’s Yeouido district to discuss cooperation in physical AI.
She also closely accompanied Jensen Huang during his June trip to South Korea, including his second round of meetings with heads of major Korean companies.
