Binance CEO Says Crypto Is Expanding Beyond Trading Into Financial Infrastructure

The cryptocurrency industry is expanding beyond trading into everyday uses such as payments and financial infrastructure, Binance co-Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng said.
In a post on X on Aug. 17, Teng wrote that the crypto industry is evolving beyond trading.
Users are gaining access to a broader range of markets, while stablecoins are increasingly being used as financial infrastructure and cryptocurrencies are seeing wider use in daily life, he added.
"Innovation matters most when it gives people access to practical, secure and meaningful opportunities," Teng said.
