President Donald Trump said he is in no rush to resolve issues involving Iran and that informal communication channels are open with officials from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Walter Bloomberg, citing Fox News, reported on Aug. 17 that Trump said he was “not rushing” on Iran.

Trump said back channels exist with IRGC officials, but did not disclose who was involved or what was being discussed.

He also delivered a hard-line warning to Oman, threatening bombing if it interferes with U.S. actions, the report said.

On Gaza, Trump said Israel should not attack the territory. He also said he may support a specific candidate in a future Israeli election.
