U.S. President Donald Trump’s job approval rating has fallen to 33%, its lowest level since he took office.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll released on August 17 showed 33% of respondents approved of Trump’s job performance, while about 64% disapproved.
The survey also pointed to broad concern that the conflict with Iran could become prolonged. Eighty percent of respondents said U.S. involvement in the Iran conflict would continue for an extended period.
The decline in approval comes ahead of the November midterm elections, as Republicans seek to hold on to their congressional majorities.
