Ripple CEO Says He Has Taken a More Neutral View on IPO, With No Decision Yet
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Ripple Chief Executive Officer Brad Garlinghouse said he has become more neutral on the prospect of an initial public offering.
Garlinghouse told Cointelegraph on Aug. 19 that his view on an IPO had shifted to a more neutral stance. He said Ripple has not made any decision on whether to go public.
Ripple had previously maintained that it had no plans for an IPO, saying its strong financial position reduced the need to raise funds through a listing.
Late last year, Ripple raised $500 million at a $40 billion valuation. Earlier this year, Ripple President Monica Long said the company already had sufficient capital and investment capacity to support its growth, making a public listing unnecessary.
