Cantor Fitzgerald plans to offer large-scale prediction-market trading through Kalshi to about 3,000 institutional clients.
CoinDesk reported on Aug. 19 that Susquehanna International Group, a market maker on Kalshi, will provide pricing and liquidity. Cantor Fitzgerald will serve as broker, helping institutional clients prepare and execute trades.
"Prediction markets are growing rapidly, but institutional investors have lagged because it has been difficult to execute large trades on regulated exchanges," Pascal Bandelier, Cantor Fitzgerald's co-chief executive officer and head of global equities, said. "Now there is sufficient liquidity."
