Bitcoin is emerging as a safe-haven asset as the yield on the benchmark 10-year US Treasury rises, according to Samson Mow, chief executive officer of JAN3.
Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 20 that Mow made the remarks in a post on X, formerly Twitter, discussing the rise in the 10-year US Treasury yield and moves in the Bitcoin market.
"As the 10-year US Treasury yield rises, the market is moving toward viewing Bitcoin as a safe-haven asset," Mow wrote.
As US Treasury yields continue to climb, attention is focused on whether Bitcoin can attract demand as an alternative safe-haven asset.
