Forecast Trend Report by Period

Travel Wallet, a global foreign-exchange and payments fintech company, has begun full-scale preparations for an initial public offering, targeting a 2027 listing on South Korea’s Kosdaq market.
The company said Aug. 21 that it selected KB Securities and NH Investment & Securities as lead underwriters for the IPO and completed underwriting agreements with both firms. It is now discussing follow-up steps with the underwriters, including listing strategy and a detailed timetable.
Travel Wallet is also moving ahead with a transition to International Financial Reporting Standards, or IFRS. It is carrying out the conversion with Samjong KPMG and has completed two rounds of on-site reviews.
The IFRS conversion process involves analyzing differences between its current accounting standards and IFRS, then revising financial statements and accounting policies to meet international standards. Travel Wallet said the work is aimed at establishing the financial reporting framework and accounting policies needed for a listing.
At the same time, the company is accelerating its overseas expansion. Travel Wallet plans to build on the foreign-exchange and payments infrastructure it established in South Korea and expand services in line with each market’s regulations and financial environment.
In April, the company launched Travel Wallet services for local users in Japan, marking the start of its overseas local-business expansion. It is also pursuing entry into additional markets, including the US.
Chief Executive Officer Kim Hyung-woo said the company has been proceeding step by step toward a 2027 Kosdaq listing by completing underwriting agreements, advancing its IFRS conversion and finishing two rounds of on-site reviews.
He added that Travel Wallet plans to pursue IPO preparations and global expansion in parallel while strengthening its medium- to long-term growth potential and upgrading its financial and management systems.
