Binance Co-Founder Zhao Calls for Tokenizing All Assets as Funding Tool
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Changpeng Zhao, co-founder of Binance, called for broader tokenization of assets including stocks, saying it could help countries and companies raise capital and attract foreign direct investment.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Aug. 21, Zhao wrote, “Let’s tokenize everything,” and called tokenization “one of the best ways” for countries to raise funds or attract foreign direct investment.
He also highlighted the market’s growth potential, asking what country or company would not want to sell tokenized shares to investors around the world.
Zhao said he supports tokenization on all blockchains rather than limiting it to a specific network. Multiple blockchains and issuers expanding the market at the same time could speed the industry’s growth.
He cautioned that spreading assets across multiple blockchains and issuers could fragment trading liquidity. Increasing interoperability among tokenized assets issued by different firms could ease that problem to some extent, he added.
