KiiChain, an on-chain foreign-exchange infrastructure provider, is stepping up efforts to expand its transaction base and global partnerships after launching its mainnet.

Cumulative transaction volume on the platform has topped $600 million, the company said on August 21. Monthly transaction growth is running at about 10%, and corporate clients account for roughly 90% of total volume. Since the mainnet launch on August 14, KiiChain has focused on connecting existing enterprise demand to on-chain FX infrastructure.

Its user base is also expanding. KiiChain said it has more than 350,000 users and over 200 corporate clients. Its pipeline of signed real-world asset, or RWA, agreements has a notional value of $5.4 billion. Those assets remain at the contract stage and have not yet been issued on-chain.

The company is also broadening partnerships with payments, finance and on-chain infrastructure firms to support that transaction demand. It has signed nine partnerships in distribution, and some partners are already processing live payments and transactions.

Colombian payments fintech Spectre is processing about $2 million in daily transactions through KiiChain. In On Capital, a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission-registered investment adviser, is onboarding 60,000 merchants in Panama.

1Money Network and Stable use KiiChain for FX infrastructure. ZigChain, Noon Capital and OrbitEarn are working with the company to offer users RWAs and yield-generating financial products.

The partnership expansion is also widening KiiChain's regional and currency coverage. The company currently operates three currency corridors — the Colombian peso, Brazilian real and Mexican peso — with locally licensed providers. Through integrations with Hyperlane, Union, rhino.fi, Rome Protocol and Euclid Protocol, it is also connected to more than 100 blockchain ecosystems.

KiiChain plans to roll out additional services and currencies in stages. It plans to launch yield vaults in October, followed in November by U.S. dollar and Argentine peso corridors and U.S. virtual account services. After that, it aims to add support for the Japanese yen, euro, British pound, Chilean peso and Peruvian sol.
