Bloomberg reported on Aug. 21 that Dalio wrote in a LinkedIn post that investors should diversify into countries and assets with strong fiscal health.
He said investors should cut their bond holdings and put about 10% to 15% of their portfolios into gold. They should also hold some Bitcoin to hedge against risk.
Dalio said that asset-allocation strategy could help protect against deteriorating US fiscal conditions and debt risks. It could also reduce risk while improving returns.
