In a post on X on Aug. 22, Eric Trump called the claim "completely untrue." He added that "nobody is launching any coin of any kind" and said anyone claiming otherwise is "a scam."

His remarks were directed at speculation that emerged in the industry that day. Some had suggested that President Trump would launch a new token following Official Trump (TRUMP).
