BNB Smart Chain has activated the Pasteur hard fork on its mainnet.
Cointelegraph wrote on X on Aug. 25 that the Pasteur hard fork had gone live on the BSC mainnet.
The upgrade is aimed at strengthening security tied to cross-chain bridges, staking and governance.
The network's block generation time will remain unchanged at 450 milliseconds.
