Metaplanet CEO Denies Selling Shares, Reaffirms Bullish View on Bitcoin

Simon Gerovich, chief executive officer of Metaplanet, denied claims that he had sold shares in the company. He also reaffirmed his bullish outlook for Bitcoin and Metaplanet.

Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 25 that Gerovich denied recent speculation that he had sold Metaplanet stock.

"I have not sold Metaplanet shares," Gerovich said, adding that he remains bullish on both Bitcoin and the company.

Metaplanet has adopted Bitcoin as a core treasury asset and has steadily expanded its holdings. The company is pursuing a Bitcoin-centered treasury strategy as a key business focus.
