Cryptocurrency exchange MEXC is exiting the Netherlands and has recommended Bybit EU as an alternative platform for local users. Bybit EU is licensed under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation, or MiCA.

Cointelegraph reported on August 25 that MEXC selected Bybit EU as an alternative exchange for Dutch users to transfer their assets before its services in the country end.

Bybit EU provides services in Europe under its authorization as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA. MEXC is offering a regulated exchange as an alternative for Dutch users during the service transition.

The company said it will announce the detailed timeline for ending its services in the Netherlands, along with procedures for transferring user assets, separately.
