Upbit 24-Hour Trading Volume Nears $1.41 Billion, Up 11% From Day Earlier

Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, recorded nearly $1.41 billion in trading volume over the past 24 hours.

Dunamu said on August 27 that Upbit’s trading volume for the latest 24-hour period stood at about 1.97 trillion won, or roughly $1.41 billion. That was up about 11.37% from a day earlier.

XRP was the most actively traded asset during the period, with about 334.5 billion won, or roughly $239 million, in volume. It was followed by Tether at about $134 million, Ontology Gas at about $124 million, and Ether at about $109 million.

Upbit’s cryptocurrency fear-and-greed index stood at 66 on August 27, placing it in the “Greed” range. That was down 3 points from 69 a day earlier and up 21 points from 45 a month earlier.
