Binance Unveils 'Agent OS' Platform to Connect AI Agents With Financial Services
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Binance, the global cryptocurrency exchange, said August 31 that it has unveiled Binance Agent OS, an integrated platform that connects AI agents with financial services, extending its financial superapp strategy into AI.
Binance Agent OS serves as a gateway and toolkit linking AI agents to Binance's financial infrastructure. Developers can connect AI agents to Binance systems to tap market data and a range of other information and functions. Binance plans to gradually expand that connectivity to payments and on-chain services.
The newly launched Agent OS uses an MCP, or Model Context Protocol, server, an open standard designed to ensure compatibility with global AI systems and in-house agents including ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and Claude Code. Users can add the Binance MCP server to their AI agent environment, then connect the system after completing authentication and permission settings.
Binance is also offering Binance Skills Hub to simplify development. It allows developers to link functions such as Web3 wallet tracking and decentralized finance, or DeFi, interactions to AI agents without writing separate integration logic.
Binance said it also strengthened user controls and safeguards as AI connects directly to financial services. Agent OS is designed so agents can operate only within the scope explicitly approved by users. Users can directly set the functions each agent can access, along with permissions and funding limits, and can change those settings or disconnect the link at any time. The platform also includes an Emergency Stop feature that can suspend access for all agents at once if needed.
Binance plans to use the launch as the first step in its long-term AI roadmap and introduce additional AI products and features for a wider range of users.
"AI is shifting from a tool people consult before making financial decisions to one that connects directly to services and carries out tasks," a Binance official said. "Starting with Binance Agent OS, we will expand the experience of linking AI with financial services and continue broadening the possibilities of a financial superapp."
