Stellar’s Tokenized RWA Market Surges 360% This Year to Nearly $4 Billion
Forecast Trend Report by Period

The market for tokenized real-world assets on the Stellar network has surged about 360% this year to nearly $4 billion, driven by broader use of the blockchain by financial institutions and tokenization platforms.
Cointelegraph, citing Stellar data from Dune Analytics, reported on Aug. 30 that Stellar’s RWA market capitalization reached $3.996 billion as of Aug. 29. That was roughly 4.6 times the $868.8 million recorded at the end of last year.
RWAs issued on Stellar include U.S. Treasuries, private and public credit products, and sovereign debt from outside the U.S. By issuer, Spiko accounted for the largest share at about $1.55 billion, followed by Realiz at $559 million, Tradable at $548 million, Franklin Templeton at $546 million and Ondo at $535 million.
Tokenization of non-U.S. sovereign debt is also expanding. The Stellar Development Foundation said non-U.S. government bonds issued on Stellar totaled about $490 million as of Aug. 20, including Mexico’s short-term government bonds, known as CETES, and Brazilian government debt.
Institutional participation has continued as well. DTCC said in May that it planned to connect its tokenization service to Stellar, with the related assets set to be available on the network in the first half of 2027. Tokenization platform Tradable also announced in July that it would bring up to $1 billion of private credit assets onto Stellar.
Despite the network’s growth, Stellar’s native token, XLM, has fallen about 11% this year and was trading near $0.18.
