Cronos has resumed normal operations after a temporary shutdown in response to an attack on the Tectonic protocol.
The network said in a post on X on Aug. 31 that it had resumed producing blocks and was fully back online.
Cronos validators had halted the network earlier through emergency consensus to protect users from the attack. The blockchain state was later restored to a point before the attack earlier that morning.
Cronos resumed block production from block 90,896,189 at 8:49:01 a.m. Korea Standard Time on Aug. 31.
The network is still undergoing stability checks. Some protocols, RPC providers, blockchain explorers and bridge services may take more time to return to normal, Cronos added.
Cronos said it plans to publish a full post-mortem report on the incident.
