NFT marketplace OpenSea has resumed support for Solana-based NFT trading, more than four years after launching a beta version of the feature in April 2022.
The Block reported on August 31 that OpenSea initially rolled out the Solana NFT trading beta in 2022 for 165 collections before later discontinuing support.
With the relaunch, users can directly buy, sell and trade Solana-based NFTs on OpenSea.
Solana is the first non-Ethereum Virtual Machine, or non-EVM, chain to receive NFT trading support on OpenSea since the company ended the beta program.
