Walter Bloomberg, a channel that posts breaking international economic news, reported that Nasdaq 100 futures were down 1.03%. S&P 500 E-mini futures and Dow futures also fell 0.58% and 0.55%, respectively.
Precious metals were weaker as well. Spot silver tumbled about 3% during the session to $64.56 an ounce.
Separately, the Israeli military said it had struck multiple targets in the Gaza Strip on Sept. 1.
