BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes said Ethereum offers the best short-term risk-reward, even as he maintained his long-term forecast that Bitcoin will reach $1 million by 2030.
Hayes told the Trade Secrets podcast that Bitcoin likely bottomed around $58,000 and should continue rising, Cointelegraph reported on Sept. 2.
For new capital at current levels, however, he said Ethereum looks more attractive. Hayes said Ether could climb threefold to fivefold in the short term, giving it the strongest risk-reward profile.
He also reiterated his long-term view that Bitcoin will reach $1 million by 2030.
