Robinhood Chain Data Posting Delayed; Arbitrum Says Trading Unaffected

A temporary delay affected data posting on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer-2 blockchain. Arbitrum said the issue did not affect user trade processing and that the network continued to operate normally without any outage.
Arbitrum wrote on its official X account on Sept. 4 that "there has been no downtime of any kind on Robinhood Chain." It added that delays emerged in the process of recording transaction batches because of conditions in the layer-1 blob market.
Robinhood Chain processes user transactions on layer 2, then bundles multiple transactions and records them on the Ethereum mainnet. The delay occurred while those transaction batches were being posted to layer 1. Transactions sent directly by users on Robinhood Chain were processed normally without notable delay, Arbitrum said.
Arbitrum said some infrastructure providers experienced a brief performance impact, but Robinhood Chain continues to operate normally. Built on Arbitrum technology, the network focuses on tokenizing real-world assets, or RWAs, such as stocks, and offering 24-hour on-chain trading.
