Cointelegraph reported on Sept. 7 that spot volume on centralized exchanges climbed 15% from a month earlier in August to $811 billion.
The gain marked a return to growth just one month after July spot volume fell to its lowest level in two years.
Among exchanges, Coinbase and KuCoin recorded the most pronounced increases in trading volume.
