South Korean digital-asset wallet company IoTrust is rebranding its wallet brand DCENT.
IoTrust said on September 8 it will change the wallet’s English brand name to “DCENT” from “D'CENT,” removing the apostrophe. The Korean brand name will remain unchanged. The move comes about eight years after the company introduced DCENT, a fingerprint-authentication wallet, in 2018.
The company also unveiled a new wordmark and its new brand color, “DCENT Lime,” to match the updated name. Its new slogan is “Own your future, at ease.” According to the company, the slogan reflects a brand direction aimed at leaving ownership of digital assets with users while reducing the burden of storage and management.
IoTrust presented “Beyond Storage” as the core message of the rebranding. It plans to expand the role of hardware wallets beyond simple asset storage into a gateway for digital-asset services such as staking and transaction approvals. The company also plans to broaden DCENT’s business scope to support digital-asset services spanning backup, recovery, management and use.
IoTrust on September 8 also unveiled the premium hardware wallet “DCENT X.” The cold wallet allows users to review the content they are about to sign on a 2.4-inch AMOLED display and approve it with a fingerprint. It features a touchscreen and fingerprint authentication.

Like IoTrust’s card-type cold wallet “DCENT S,” DCENT X also includes a backup and recovery function that uses a separate card. The feature is designed to reduce the hassle of writing down and storing recovery phrases manually by allowing users to manage recovery information with a card.
IoTrust is also strengthening its institutional business. The company recently launched “DCENT Enterprise,” a digital-asset custody and management solution for institutions. It includes internal-control features such as multi-approval functions, allowing organizations to manage digital assets systematically according to internal standards in environments involving multiple stakeholders.
IoTrust’s plan is to link different user environments under the DCENT brand, from personal hardware wallets to institutional solutions. The company described the rebranding as a starting point for expanding DCENT beyond asset-storage devices into backup, recovery, management and use. It said DCENT X and DCENT S will broaden options for individual users, while DCENT Enterprise will support asset-management environments for companies and institutions.
DCENT supports more than 100 blockchain networks and more than 10,000 tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, the XRP Ledger and Solana.
