Hyperion DeFi, a U.S.-listed company focused on the Hyperliquid ecosystem, raised its 2026 outlook and plans to repurchase up to $20 million of its own shares.
Hyperion DeFi said on September 8 that it increased its 2026 adjusted gross profit forecast to $7 million to $8 million from $5 million to $7 million. It also expects adjusted operating cash flow to turn positive in the third quarter.
The company projected third-quarter core operating profit of $0 to $500,000. Adjusted gross profit from its core DeFi business is set to exceed operating expenses, excluding stock-based compensation, for the first time.
The board also approved a common stock buyback program of up to $20 million. The repurchase program will run for up to 12 months, with the size and timing of purchases to depend on the share price and market conditions.
Hyperion DeFi operates around the Hyperliquid ecosystem and generates revenue through HYPE staking and on-chain businesses.
