South Korean digital-asset wallet provider IoTrust has detected abnormal transactions in its app.

IoTrust said on September 16 on its official X account that it had detected unusual asset movements related to the D’CENT app wallet and was conducting an emergency investigation. D’CENT is the company’s digital-asset wallet brand.

Initial findings suggest the issue is limited to the D’CENT app wallet, the company said. It strongly urged users with assets in the D’CENT app wallet to move them as soon as possible to a secure hardware wallet or another trusted wallet address, regardless of the amount. The recommendation also applies to users who use the same mnemonic phrase for both the D’CENT app wallet and a hardware wallet.

IoTrust said it would provide further guidance as soon as it confirms the cause of the issue, the scope of the impact and any necessary response measures.
