Global cryptocurrency exchange Gate has integrated Arc, the proprietary blockchain of USDC issuer Circle, into its Web3 services.

Odaily reported on September 16 that Gate said it now supports the Arc blockchain across its key Web3 services, including on-chain trading service Trenchs and Gate Wallet.

Starting September 16, Gate users can view, send and receive Arc-based assets through Gate Wallet. They can also connect their wallets to decentralized applications in the Arc ecosystem to use on-chain services.

Trenchs has also added asset discovery and trading for Arc-based tokens. For Arc-based asset trades on Trenchs, Gate will offer zero-gas trading that lets users avoid separate network fees.

Gate recently introduced a temporary gas-fee waiver for trades of Robinhood Chain-based assets on Trenchs. With the addition of Arc, the number of blockchains covered by the fee exemption has increased.

Circle, meanwhile, officially launched the Arc mainnet on September 16. Arc was designed to support financial services including stablecoin payments and foreign exchange, as well as trading in tokenized assets.
