BlackRock’s spot-Bitcoin exchange-traded fund, the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), ranked fifth in daily trading volume among all US ETFs.
Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas wrote on Sept. 18 that IBIT climbed about 6%, fueling a surge in trading activity.
That made IBIT the fifth-most traded ETF in the US, not just among crypto-related products but across the entire ETF market.
Balchunas added that trading in IBIT accelerated alongside Bitcoin’s price gains.
