Forecast Trend Report by Period

A broadening rally in the altcoin market has pushed 70% of altcoins listed on Binance back above their 200-day moving averages, according to an analysis.
On Sept. 19, crypto analyst Darkfost wrote on X that TOTAL3 — a measure of crypto market capitalization excluding Bitcoin and Ether — had climbed above $800 billion. That is the highest level in about eight months and above the previous peak reached in May.
Bitcoin, by contrast, has been trading sideways in a range of roughly $75,600 to $82,000. As money rotated into altcoins, their share of trading volume on Binance rose to 53%, Darkfost said.
In particular, about 70% of Binance-listed altcoins have moved above the 200-day moving average, a key trend indicator. Darkfost said the relative strength of altcoins has risen to a level similar to that seen at the market peak in October 2025.
"A very positive trend is taking shape in the altcoin market, and for now it is outperforming Bitcoin," Darkfost wrote. He added that caution is still warranted because market conditions can change quickly.
