Citing The New York Times, overseas economic news account Walter Bloomberg reported on Sept. 21 that the US had presented China with a proposal to extend the current trade truce by another six months.
China has asked to keep the trade truce in place for longer than the US proposal. The current US-China trade truce is set to expire on Nov. 10, and the two sides are discussing an extension.
