Global crypto asset manager Bitwise will launch a Lighter-based exchange-traded product in Germany.
Trading in Bitwise's Lighter Staking ETP is set to begin on September 23 on Xetra, the electronic trading platform operated by Deutsche Boerse, according to Odaily. The ticker is BLIT.
The product tracks crypto data firm Kaiko's Lighter Reference Rate Index. It is designed to give investors exposure to Lighter price movements through existing brokerage accounts without directly holding the token.
Bitwise plans to incorporate yield generated by staking the underlying holdings into the product once its assets under management reach a certain threshold.
