Forecast Trend Report by Period

Chainlink has launched CCIP 2.0, with the key addition allowing companies to add separate security validators when transferring assets and messages across blockchains.
CoinDesk reported on September 28 that CCIP 2.0 allows companies to add their own security validators or third-party validation providers to Chainlink’s default validation network.
Chainlink’s default validation network, made up of 16 independent node operators, will continue to verify all transfers as before. Users can add separate validators on top of that to strengthen the security layer.
Existing CCIP users were automatically migrated to the new version. However, no institutions using the newly added external validators have yet been disclosed.
