The group took part in the Korea-Japan Financial Cooperation Conference held on September 28 at the Korea Financial Investment Association in Seoul's Yeouido district, the Financial News reported on September 29. At the conference, Shinhan explored cooperation in transition finance, carbon markets and digital finance.
The event drew participants from major institutions including domestic and overseas universities and research institutes, financial authorities and the Asian Development Bank. They discussed climate-transition finance policy, digital-finance innovation and the development direction of the digital-asset market.
During a panel discussion, Shinhan outlined the group's transition-finance strategy and shared cooperation measures to promote innovation in the South Korean and Japanese financial markets, including digital assets.
