Lite Strategy, a U.S.-listed company that uses Litecoin as a primary reserve asset, disclosed its fiscal 2026 results and provided an update on its digital-asset treasury strategy.
According to a GlobeNewswire release on September 29, the company held 832,716 LTC as of the end of June. That exceeds 1% of the total Litecoin supply mined to date.
After raising $100 million through a private placement in July last year, the company used the proceeds to buy more than 900,000 LTC. It subsequently established institutional-grade custody and professional management systems, and launched a covered-call options strategy using LTC as well as a share repurchase program.
Under a $25 million share buyback program approved in October last year, Lite Strategy had repurchased about 6.4 million shares as of September 22. That represents about 17% of shares outstanding. Over the same period, the company generated about $930,000 in option premium income through its covered-call program.
The company said the buybacks and other measures reduced its stock's discount to net asset value, or NAV, from the low-40% range to the low-20% range.
As of the end of June, cash and cash equivalents totaled $5.7 million, while digital assets available for unrestricted use or pledged as collateral stood at $34.9 million. Total assets were $42.7 million, and the company had no debt.
Lite Strategy said it plans to focus on increasing LTC holdings per share through additional share repurchases and higher returns from LTC-based strategies. It also invested $1 million in LitVM, a Layer 2 project aimed at adding smart-contract functionality to the Litecoin network.
