Upbit Expands AI Market Intelligence Service to Analyze Drivers of Price Swings

Upbit is expanding its artificial intelligence-powered market intelligence services, aiming to provide not only broader cryptocurrency market trends but also analysis of what is driving price moves in individual assets.

Dunamu said on October 2 that it is broadening the AI-based market information services offered through Upbit Data Lab. As part of the overhaul, it is introducing AI Market Report and Uptrace, while reorganizing its existing AI News Briefing into Real-Time Issues and Topic NOW.

AI Market Report provides summaries of major market trends in videos of 90 seconds or less based on market data and news from Upbit Data Lab. It combines the Upbit Composite Index, prices of major assets, top gainers and losers, and market sentiment indicators to present an overview of broader market moves.

The AI selects major issues based on price changes and market impact, then summarizes the key points. The report will be released at 10 a.m. on weekdays through Upbit Data Lab and Upbit's official YouTube channel.

The company also introduced Uptrace, a service that analyzes the reasons behind price moves in individual assets. Uptrace tracks price changes in a specific asset alongside related news, with AI analyzing the main factors that influenced the move.

Users can view price trends for individual assets on Upbit Data Lab together with related news and AI analysis from the same point in time. By selecting the diamond icon displayed on the chart, users can see the background behind a price move at a specific moment.

The existing AI News Briefing has been split into Real-Time Issues and Topic NOW to help users review market information more quickly. Real-Time Issues uses AI to classify cryptocurrency-related news by topic and organize it by importance, delivering newly emerging market developments.

Topic NOW groups related details scattered across multiple articles under a single theme. It summarizes the key points of each topic in no more than three paragraphs and also shows the main developments that followed the issue.

Kim Dae-hyun, Dunamu's chief data officer, said the digital-asset market operates around the clock, making it difficult for users to directly monitor and interpret the large volume of data and news. Dunamu will continue upgrading related services so users can understand complex market information more easily and quickly with the help of AI, he added.
