Ripple, the issuer of XRP, and the XRP Ledger Foundation have jointly established XRP Asia, an organization dedicated to expanding the XRPL ecosystem across the Asia-Pacific region.

Industry sources said on October 3 that XRP Asia had announced its official launch that day. The organization plans to run education, technical and commercialization programs, along with events for developers, startups and local communities across Asia-Pacific. Its goal is to help Asian developers use XRPL and turn the region into a key hub for ecosystem growth and technology adoption.

XRP Asia will be headquartered in Singapore and led by Sabrina Tachdjian. Tachdjian previously oversaw Asia-Pacific business at the HBAR Foundation. She plans to apply her experience supporting developers and startups in Asia to XRP Asia's ecosystem strategy.

XRP Asia will expand its regional network through groups including XRPL Korea and XRPL Japan. More specifically, it plans to establish new communities in major Asian cities and development hubs, while serving as a regional hub connecting developers across different countries.

The organization will also operate an SI partnership program for system integration companies and software developers. The plan is to expand specialized talent and technical capabilities so companies can adopt XRPL and build services on the network.

XRP Asia also plans to help XRPL-based startups enter the market. As a first step, it will guide founders to relevant XRPL infrastructure and service providers, while supporting business matchmaking and incubation.
