Strive, a U.S. Bitcoin treasury company, has bought an additional 2,000 Bitcoin.
Matt Cole, Strive's chief executive officer, wrote in a post on X on Oct. 5 that the company bought the Bitcoin for $169 million. The average purchase price was $84,422 per coin.
The latest purchase raised Strive's total Bitcoin holdings to 29,462 BTC.
Cole said 61.5% of the funds used for the purchase were raised through SATA, while $56.7 million was raised through warrants. In an 8-K filing submitted the same day, Strive also disclosed key financial metrics and key performance indicators through the third quarter of this year.
