Strategy (MSTR) and Bitcoin (BTC) have delivered higher annualized returns than major traditional assets since the company adopted its Bitcoin strategy, Michael Saylor said.
On Oct. 6, Saylor, Strategy's executive chairman, wrote on X that since the company adopted the "Bitcoin Standard" in 2020, MSTR has posted a 52% annualized return, while Bitcoin has returned 38% annually.
He described MSTR as "Digital Equity" and Bitcoin as "Digital Capital," adding that both have outperformed benchmark assets including stocks, gold, real estate and bonds.
