Jamie Dimon, chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co., said the spread of artificial intelligence has increased cyber risk tenfold, making cybersecurity the biggest threat facing banks.
Walter Bloomberg reported on October 6 that Dimon said AI is sharply increasing cyber risk. "Cyber risk has gone up 10 times," he said.
Dimon also warned about government debt. "Governments cannot borrow and spend endlessly," he said, adding that rising debt could drive up Treasury yields and credit spreads.
On AI infrastructure, he said companies should build data centers where local communities want them. He added that better policy could boost economic growth without additional fiscal spending.
