Aeternum said on Oct. 12 that Unchained Summit India, a conference on India’s digital-asset market and regulation, tokenization, and blockchain infrastructure, will be held on Nov. 5-6 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Mumbai.

The event will be the third Unchained Summit. Participants from financial markets, digital assets, legal services, technology, and the Web3 industry will discuss regulatory, financial, and technological shifts surrounding India’s on-chain economy.

More than 50 speakers will take part. They include S B Seker, Binance’s head of Asia-Pacific; CoinDCX founder Sumit Gupta; CoinSwitch co-founder Ashish Singhal; Dilip Chenoy, chairman of the Bharat Web3 Association; and Kunaal Patel, head of institutional business for Asia and the Middle East and North Africa at Ondo Finance. Representatives from Base, Polygon Labs, NEAR, and Alchemy will also attend.

The first day will focus on India’s digital-asset market, investment landscape, regulatory framework, tokenization, stablecoins, and payments and settlement. Custody, liquidity, and compliance requirements for institutional participation will also be discussed, along with the conditions needed for broader adoption of tokenized securities and real-world assets, or RWAs.

Representatives from IBDIC and Finternet will exchange views on tokenization, banking, and payments and settlement infrastructure. Digital-asset firms including Ondo Finance will also discuss ways to connect on-chain infrastructure with the traditional financial system.

On the regulatory front, Rohan Bagai, senior partner at AZB & Partners, Anirud Sudarsan, partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and Jaideep Reddy, partner at Trilegal, will discuss India’s digital-asset regulatory framework and ways to secure greater legal clarity.

The second day will center on blockchain infrastructure, Web3 applications, artificial intelligence, interoperability, decentralized physical infrastructure, or DePIN, and digital trust. Representatives from Avail, SingularityNET, Startale Group, and the NEAR Foundation will take part in those discussions.

The event will also cover how Web3 services can improve usability, build communities, and make practical use of digital ownership to expand beyond existing crypto users and reach mainstream consumers.

Sharath Kumar, founder and chief executive officer of Aeternum, said India’s digital-asset market faces challenges spanning investment, regulation, financial infrastructure, and technology. He added that the event aims to bring together crypto exchanges, investors, financial institutions, and developers to discuss opportunities that can lead to actual investment and business partnerships.
