Cryptocurrencies, semiconductors and AI cloud-related assets have pulled back to key support levels, leaving room for a rebound if fundamentals remain intact.
Coin Bureau said on X on October 17 that Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee described cryptocurrencies, semiconductor stocks and AI cloud companies as a "coiled spring" if their fundamentals hold.
Lee said all three asset groups had corrected to major support levels. He added that Fundstrat strategist Mark Newton sees the market potentially forming a bottom later on October 17 or by next Monday.
"When market fear intensifies while fundamentals remain intact, this can become a very attractive area from a risk-reward perspective," Lee said.
