SK Hynix Slump Sends All 7 Single-Stock Leveraged ETPs Down More Than 9%

SK Hynix shares weakened, sending single-stock leveraged products tied to the chipmaker sharply lower across the board. All seven of the products closed below 5,000 won for the first time.
According to Koscom CHECK on Oct. 20, all seven SK Hynix single-stock leveraged products fell more than 9% from the previous session and ended in the 4,000-won range.
The heavily traded KODEX SK Hynix Single Stock Leverage closed at 4,880 won, down 9.38%. TIGER SK Hynix Single Stock Leverage dropped 9.84% to 4,125 won.
KIWOOM SK Hynix Futures Single Stock Leverage ended at 4,065 won, while SOL SK Hynix Single Stock Leverage closed at 4,075 won and ACE SK Hynix Single Stock Leverage finished at 4,170 won. RISE SK Hynix Single Stock Leverage and 1Q SK Hynix Futures Single Stock Leverage fell to 4,250 won and 4,290 won, respectively.
The seven Samsung Electronics single-stock leveraged products also fell about 5% to 6% on the day, ending in the 7,000-won range.
The Kospi closed at 5,552.74 on Oct. 20, down 215.27 points, or 3.73%, from the previous session. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix fell 3.21% and 4.93%, respectively.
